Whether you’re an individual user ordering a single file or a business managing transcription at scale, this update is designed to make getting transcripts easier and faster.
What’s Changed (At a Glance)
Before:
Users chose between multiple transcription products – each with a fixed set of features – and then tried to determine which one best fit their needs.
Now:
You choose how your transcript is created, then select only the features you want.

Ordering directly from the website or your first order, you will see the following:
When you begin the process of submitting an audio file for transcription, you can easily select between purchasing an AI only transcript for a quick and the most affordable option, or a human edited transcript for the best accuracy.
The Old Model: Too Many Choices, Too Much Guesswork
Previously, users had to choose from four different transcription products:
- Machine Express
- First Draft
- Standard
- Verbatim
Each product came with additional options you could select from. While powerful, this approach often raised a common question:
“Which product do I actually need?”
Most customers simply want a high-quality transcript, not a crash course in transcription product taxonomy.
The New Model: Two Products, Flexible Features
We’ve streamlined everything into two core products, with optional features you can add as needed.
AI-Only Transcription
Best for speed and cost-efficiency.

Human-Edited Transcription
Best for accuracy and professional use.
This option delivers high-accuracy, human-reviewed transcripts, with flexible add-ons so you only pay for what you need.

- Extra Review: 99%+ accuracy guarantee
- Verbatim Style: True full verbatim with dialogue typed exactly as is spoken
- Timestamping & Speaker Identification: Timestamps include with every speaker change
- Multiple language options
- Free AI Draft included with every human transcription order
If you are an existing user and would like the same transcription output as our previous interface, this is the following mapping:
- Machine Express: Please select the Automated transcription option, this will give you the AI only output.
- Standard Product: If you select Human Edited transcription, then the Extra Review and the Timestamping & Speaker Identification options, this will give you the same final output.
- Verbatim Product: If you select Human Edited transcription, then the Verbatim along with the Timestamping & Speaker Identification options, this will give you the product you previously selected.
- Existing Users or those with promo codes that have ordered transcripts within the last year will see the options you’ve most commonly ordered pre-selected for you, which will completely simplify the order process.
Most users choose the human-edited option. Our lowest-cost human-edited transcription starts at $0.79 per audio minute, with pricing unchanged from before.
