With these handy and informative applications, your e-learning, revisions, and calendars can be kept in one place. Not only is organization covered, we’ve even considered getting you through your exams in the best way possible — and beyond — to the next step in your future.

1. TranscribeMe: Fast, Accurate Transcription

This is probably one of the convenient apps you’ll ever use. Think just how much time you can save when recording notes, lectures, and group project meetings. The transcription app uses speech recognition and human transcribers to convert any audio or video files to text. All you need to do is record directly into the app or import your audio and video files from other apps like Dropbox and Voice Memos, you can even share with your friends, in email or text through the app.

3. WolframAlpha

The best $3 you’ll ever spend. Fueled by Apple’s Siri, WolframAlpha utilizes the data from a gigantic collection of algorithms and, step-by-step answers your questions.

Comparing itself to the Star Trek computer, this knowledge engine is surprisingly accurate. It can’t not be, with thorough instructions on how it determined the answer and 25 years of development, it’s become “the world’s definitive source for instant expert knowledge and computation.” Also rated highly for its “Infrequent/Mild Profanity or Crude Humour”.

4. SAT Prep by Ready4

The Ready4 series strikes again! Unlike no other preparation you have seen before, SAT provides tips and aims to teach you your material in mobile-friendly chunks. They’ve totally overtaken flashcards. You can study wherever and whenever, thanks to this free, friendly superhero. SAT accesses over 1,000 questions and flashcards, and provides detailed explanations whilst personalizing a Question of the Day.

Get a second potential SAT score, thanks to the ability comparing your strengths and weaknesses with academic matches from around the world, just in case you need another little push. 5. My Study Life – School Planner

The study planner you’ve been waiting for! A workload can be all over the place, there’s just too many calendars out there to choose from. Well, My Study Life is more than just a calendar, in fact, its integrated just about everywhere. This app includes reminders for deadlines, notifies exam and class clashes, it even adds specific revision tasks for exams. And it’s all free.

Available offline, My Study Life is accessible to cloud storage, and better yet, remains colorful and ad-free.
